Founded in 1949 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, Marymount is a full-service, 322-bed, acute-care community hospital serving southern and southeastern Cuyahoga County and neighboring communities. Our 26-acre campus houses the Hospital facilities, a 91,000+ square foot medical office building, a 40-bed behavioral health center, a critical care tower and more.

2/7/2012 9:00 AM Stroke Risk Assessments Learn your risk for stroke at this free screening. A simple blood pressure check and family health history will help to create a picture of your stroke risk. A “File of Life” emergency medical file, risk assessment form and stroke literature will be provided to each participant.

2/8/2012 6:00 PM What is a Heart Attack? Heart attacks are a leading killer of both men and women in the United States. Join us for this informative health session to learn more about the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of heart attacks. This program is in partnership with Cleveland Clinic Independence Family Health Center and Marymount Hospital.  Light refreshments included.

2/21/2012 12:00 PM Shake that Smoothie! Smoothies are a delicious snack or meal on the go. Full of fruits, yogurt, and healthy ingredients…or are they? Taste samples and take home recipes as we learn how to make heart, healthy smoothies.
