Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) are a group of tests performed to assess lung function. PFTs can detect causes of abnormal breathing symptoms, diagnose certain types of lung disease, and measure the effects of current medication and treatment. Based on these assessments, your physician will prescribe the best medication and treatment to meet your needs.
